Both players were questionable as to whether they’d play this week and now it is official. Both Houston Texans running back Arian Foster and Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush are out for their teams games on Sunday.
Foster hasn’t played since November 2nd against the Philadelphia Eagles. He has 822 yards rushing this season on 161 carries. He also has seven rushing touchdowns.
Bush will be missing his second game in a row. He missed the game at the Arizona Cardinals last week and has played just once in the past month. He has just one touchdown this season, rushing or receiving.
Of course that tweet sent off a frenzy of upset fantasy football owners but most were not surprised. Those who should be the most upset are their respective teams. Both teams are very much in the hunt for AFC Wild Card berths.
Understandably you have upset fans. Not the best time of the season to be missing games but it is what it is.
