Week 13 of the college football season didn’t have the top-loaded schedule like many of the other weeks this year, however there was some action that had an affect on the AP Poll.

In the highlight game of the night, the UCLA Bruins made a serious statement as they throttled the rival USC Trojans at home inside the Rose Bowl. This teams looks poised and ready to make a run toward a playoff spot as the season comes to a close, and with their win, they were able to make their way into the top 10.

One other notable stat from the newest AP Poll is the fact that Baylor jumped conference foe TCU, whom they have defeated in a head-to-head battle this season. The Bears are the new No. 5 team in the country, while TCU drops to six.
