A drunk Virginia Cavaliers fan sings Journey’s popular song “Don’t Stop Believin” to a plastic goose against the Miami Hurricanes.

If you’re a sports fan you’ve been subjected to Journey’s iconic hit “Don’t Stop Believin” on thousands of occasions.

No matter if it’s a song played every night like like the San Francisco Giants who unleash it in the later innings or if it’s simply used in hopes of inspiring a fan base when their favorite team is losing, it’s become a staple of both professional and collegiate sports.

Case in point, Saturday night when “Don’t Stop Believin” was blasted through the loudspeakers at the Miami-Virginia game which seemingly caught the attention of a student who apparently had a bit too much to drink.

That or he really likes plastic farm animals.

Standing somewhat by himself (there were some additional fans in the background laughing), the Virginia fan with his over-washed cap stood with a goose in his arms and started moving it around as if he was going to dance with it.

That quickly changed as instead of dancing with the goose he started serenades it as if he was a world renown crooner.

Sure, Virginia beating Miami and doing so solidly deserves some dancing but things appeared to jump the shark once homeboy started singing to the goose. Perhaps he was using the fake bird as a makeshift microphone though I’m going to assume that doesn’t makes his use of the plastic molding any less embarrassing.
