When LeBron James decided to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, it’s likely he expected a few challenges though he certainly wouldn’t have pictured what has unfolded to start the season.
There have been alleged verbal spats, questions about who exactly is truly coaching the Cleveland Cavaliers roster and of course James unloaded on his teammates in the huddle for not doing there job.
Sort of like this when LeBron James, for whatever reason, completely gave up on the defensive end.
Presumably playing a zone, LeBron apparently felt Toronto Raptors guard Lou Williams was going to stay on the perimeter but he decided to cut into the lane instead. The end result? An easy layup while LeBron James missed the entire action as he wasn’t even paying attention to his man.
Yes, even LeBron James is entitled to boneheaded moments during a game but this was pretty bad as it was nothing but a lack of concentration.
Perhaps James didn’t feel as if Lou Williams would entertain the thought of driving into the paint against him but whatever the case was, LeBron was left with egg on his face especially after he called out his own teammates for not making the simple plays.
It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen LeBron James act like this so it appears as if the struggles are starting to creep into the mental game.
