Reggie Bush Not Expected To Play In Week 12
By Hayden Kane
The Detroit Lions look to be without running back Reggie Bush once again as they gear up for a key game on the NFL schedule against the New England Patriots in week 12.
Unfortunately for the Lions and Reggie Bush, it has been yet another start and stop season for the electric running back. Once again it has been a combination of injuries and inconsistent play that has kept Bush from contributing on a high level.

Bush’s poor 2014 season has been just one of a number of problems for the Lions on the offensive side of the ball. There have been key injuries, namely one to Calvin Johnson, and generally poor play from a unit that was supposed to score points in bunches this season. The Lions are a first place team thanks to their dominant defense, but they would still love to see things click more on offense.
They will try to get things going in a tough match-up against the Patriots this weekend, but they will have to do so without Bush. According to Ian Rapoport:
Kevin Patra writes some follow-up information to that report on NFL.com:
"Bush will miss his second straight game and fourth of the season as he deals with a nagging ankle injury. It’s been a disappointing season for the back, who has struggled to stay healthy, lacked explosion when on the field — his longest run has been a 26-yarder — and has topped 50 yards in a game just once."
In total, Bush has 191 yards rushing and 169 yards receiving this season. Those are not great numbers, and the Lions will continue to try to solve their problems on offense without Bush this weekend.
