Fantasy Basketball: FanDuel Lineups For November 24th

There are seven games in the NBA tonight, which will provide several options in FanDuel.

Here are my FanDuel Lineups for November 24th:

Point Guards:

Bargains:

Aaron Brooks, Bulls ($4,100): Kirk Hinrich is still out, and Derrick Rose is listed as questionable. Even if Rose does play, Brooks should see at least 20 minutes as the backup, which makes him an intriguing option at his price.

Patrick Beverly, Rockets ($5,100): Beverly has produced this year when he has been healthy. He left Saturday’s matchup after he tweaked his hamstring, but he insists that he will be fine for tonight’s game. If you put him in your lineup though, be prepared to change at a moments notice if he is unable to go.

Worth The Price:

Chris Paul, Clippers ($10,100): HeĀ  has scored in double digits every game this season, and has also played at least 30 minutes in every game. The chances of him filling your stat sheet are very good.

Damian Lillard, Trailblazers ($8,700): Lillard’s 33. 3 fantasy points last night was his lowest total since November 9th. If that is his off night, he is definitely worth the price.

Overpriced:

Michael Carter-Williams, 76ers ($7,800): Tony Wroten has been able to co-exist with him, but the inverse has not been true. Williams had just 11.3 fantasy points on Saturday. He is not worth the risk at that price.

Goran Dragic, Suns ($6,700): Drago has averaged just 17 fantasy points per outing in his last three games. You can do better. MUCH better.

My Lineups:

A: Brooks and Lillard ($12,800)

B: Lillard and Beverly ($13,800)

Nov 22, 2014; Houston, TX, USA; Dallas Mavericks guard Monta Ellis (11) falls to the court after being fouled during the second half against the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center. The Rockets defeated the Mavericks 95-92. Mandatory Credit: Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Shooting Guards:

Bargains:

Evan Fournier, Magic ($5,500): He is logging a few less minutes with Victor Oladipo back, but the real victim has been rookie Elfrid Payton. While Fournier won’t really get any 40 point fantasy games anymore, he is consistently getting in the 20’s. That is good for the price.

Lou Williams, Raptors ($4,600): Lou Will has been on an absolute tear over the last two games. He has scored 58 points in just two games. Actual points! His fantasy point total during that span is 75.5. He will keep getting minutes as long as he keeps shooting like he is.

Worth The Cost:

James Harden, Rockets ($10,100): Harden has been under 36 fantasy points just once this year. Even Chris Paul can’t say that!

Monta Ellis, Mavericks ($7,400): Ellis has been above 24 fantasy points every game in his last nine. That is the kind of consistency I want in my lineup.

Overpriced:

Victor Oladipo, Magic ($6,700): Oladipo continues to struggle, but at least he put up 20 fantasy points for the first time in three games in his last outing. He may go off, but I am not going to be the one gambling on it. I will wait until he puts a couple of solid games together first.

My Lineups:

A: Harden and Fournier ($15,600)

B: Eliis and Lance Stephenson ($14,200): Stephenson’s shooting percentage doesn’t count against him in this format. If he keeps taking the volume of shots that he does, he is bound to keep racking up the points.

Nov 19, 2014; Houston, TX, USA; Houston Rockets forward Kostas Papanikolaou (16) shoots during the second quarter as Los Angeles Lakers guard Jeremy Lin (17) defends at Toyota Center. Mandatory Credit: Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forwards:

Bargains:

Kostas Papanikolaou, Rockets ($4,400): He has logged three consecutive games of 20+ fantasy points in the absence of Terrence Jones. Since Jones will be out for at least another month, Papanikolaou should continue to provide solid production at a low cost. My only concern is that Donatas Motiejunas could cut into his time as well.

Solomon Hill, Pacers ($5,200): The Pacers are still plugging lots of holesĀ with Hill, so he should continue to see good minutes until the team gets healthy. That may be coming later in the week, but not tonight, so I am comfortable playing Hill if you need to go cheap.

Worth The Cost:

Gordon Hayward, Jazz ($7,500): Hayward put up 48 fantasy points in his last outing, so I would say that he is over his illness.

Overpriced:

LeBron James, Cavaliers ($10,100): The whole Cavaliers team in struggling right now, including his highness. The King has not gone over 40 fantasy points in the last three games, which makes him overpriced.

Nicolas Batum, Trailblazers ($6,900): Batum struggled again in his second game of the season. He will be a bargain at this price soon enough, but let him get his bearings back first.

My Lineups:

A: Hill and Papanikolaou ($9,600)

B: Hayward and P.J. Tucker ($12,200): I went with Tucker over Gerald Green simply because Tucker has gotten more consistent minutes lately. There are a lot of risks at SF tonight.

Nov 1, 2014; Minneapolis, MN, USA; Minnesota Timberwolves center Nikola Pekovic (14) gets his shot blocked by Chicago Bulls forward Pau Gasol (16) and forward Nikola Mirotic (44) during the second quarter at Target Center. Mandatory Credit: Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forwards:

Bargains:

Amare Stoudamire, Knicks ($5,200): Don’t look now, but Stoudamire has averaged 25 points over his last three games. That makes him a reasonable low price option tonight.

Nikola Mirotic, Bulls ($3,700): Taj Gibson is out, and Pau Gasol is still hurting. Even if Pau plays, Mirotic is the top big man off the bench for the Bulls. He looked outstanding with the second unit in the blowout loss to the Blazers on Friday. Look for the Bulls to give him ample opportunity to improve on that.

Worth The Cost:

LaMarcus Aldridge, Trailblazers ($9,300): Aldridge has been an absolute monster over his last seven games. If you spend big on anyone tonight, Aldridge is the safest option.

Overpriced:

Blake Griffin, Clippers ($9,200): Griffin has been under 35 fantasy points in four of this last five games, and has been under 30 in two of those. He is a huge risk at his pricetag until he turns things around.

My Lineups:

A: Aldridge and Mirotic ($13,000)

B: Aldridge and Stoudamire ($14,500)

Nov 19, 2014; Cleveland, OH, USA; Cleveland Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao (17) grabs a rebound in the fourth quarter against the San Antonio Spurs at Quicken Loans Arena. Mandatory Credit: David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

Center:

Bargain:

Anderson Varejao, Cavaliers ($5,100): Varejao is quietly having a very good season. Also, he is the only Cavs player that is playing well during the team’s swoon. In the last three games, he is averaging 33 fantasy points per game. That makes him the best kept secret in FanDuel.

Worth The Cost:

Nikola Vucevic, Magic ($9,000): He has been very consistent over the course of the season. With the exception of his last game, when he scored a whopping 56.9 fantasy points. There is no reason not to go with Vucevic if you can afford him.

Overpriced:

Dwight Howard, Rockets ($9,100): Even if Howard plays, stay away. He was dreadful in his last two games before the injury. Make Howard prove he is back before rolling with him in daily leagues.

My Lineups:

A: Vucevic ($9,000)

B: Varejao ($5,100)
