Although James Harden can’t play defense of any sorts (as can be seen here in embarrassing fashion), there’s no denying his offensive capabilities.
Some believe that the Houston Rockets All-Star though gets the benefit of the call far too often though, which apparently includes Amare Stoudemire of the New York Knicks.
After the Rockets and Harden defeated the Knicks with a flurry of points in the fourth quarter, sparked by the guard, Stoudemire was none too happy with the amount of whistles being blown and suggested it was almost like angels came down and helped the Rockets star.
So how say you, FanSided? Does Amare Stoudemire have a point? Does James Harden have a way with the referees? Or is Amare simply being salty and he needs to head back into one of his infamous red wine baths?
No matter the case, it’s clear that James Harden has a way when it comes to getting the whistle blown in his favor as he routinely is among the league leaders in free throws attempted. Of course, much of that has to do with his style of game which not only promotes driving into the line but also in how he keeps the ball close to his body. That often results to defenses reaching in attempting to steal the ball and fouls quickly coming there after.
Still, it’s likely many will side with Amare as most believe James Harden spends far too much time at the charity stripe.
