Fantasy Basketball: FanDuel Lineups For November 25th

I hope you all had a chance to switch out Patrick Beverly last night. It now seems that Beverly is going to miss some time, despite what he originally said.

More from FanDuel

There are five games going on in the NBA tonight. Several elite options such as Anthony Davis, John Wall, and Stephen Curry are in action. So how can you afford these guys? I can help!

Here are my FanDuel lineups for November 25th:

Nov 21, 2014; Washington, DC, USA; Washington Wizards guard John Wall (2) talks to referee Ron Garretson (L) on the court against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the third quarter at Verizon Center. The Wizards won 91-78. Mandatory Credit: Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Point Guards:

Bargain:

Mario Chalmers, Heat ($6,100): Dwyane Wade is still questionable, and Norris Cole is likely out. At the very least, Chalmers will be running the offense. If Wade does not play, there is a good chance that Chalmers helps carry the offense again. He has been over 40 fantasy points in each of his last two games. There is reason to believe that he could approach that mark again.

I’m going to offer up a couple of more with a caveat: These are only good options if the starters, who are currently listed as questionable, do not play. That would be Ramon Sessions of the Kings ($3,900) and D.J. Augustin of the Pistons ($4,000). Both Darren Collison and Brandon Jennings are both questionable. Both of their backups would be great options if either of them don’t play.

Worth The Cost:

John Wall, Wizards ($9,200): Wall is averaging 45 fantasy points a game over his last five games. No one else at the position even comes close to that. Not even Curry.

Ty Lawson, Nuggets ($8,300): Lawson is the only Nugget that you can count on to get his minutes under head coach Brian Shaw. He has responded by averaging 38 fantasy points per game over the last four games. He is not quite up to Wall’s production, but he is a safer option than many others at his price. If you can’t afford Wall, Lawson is a suitable substitute.

Overpriced:

Stephen Curry, Warriors ($9,900): Curry has been under 40 fantasy points in five of his last six games. Wall is a much safer option right now.

My Lineups:

A: Chalmers and Wall ($15,300)

B: Chalmers and Lawson ($14,400)

Shooting Guards:

Bargains:

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks ($5,700): The Greek Freak has averaged 39 fantasy points per game in his last two starts. He seems to be over his ankle issues, and seems to be entrenched as the starter, at least for now. As long as he is, he is a great value in FanDuel.

Ben McLemore, Kings ($4,400): As he showed on Saturday, he can throw some points in in a hurry. He is always a risk, but at this price, he might be one worth taking if the Kings are giving him starter’s minutes.

Worth The Cost:

Klay Thompson, Warriors ($7,900): Thompson has been over 30 fantasy points in five of his last six games. He is the best high-priced option at SG tonight.

Jimmy Butler, Bulls ($7,700): His performance against the Blazers on Saturday was an aberration, just like it was for most of the team. Now with Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol back, Butler should continue to flourish alongside these stars. He has been over 35 fantasy points in all of his last six games with the exception being the disaster against Portland.

Overpriced:

Brad Beal, Wizards ($7,700): Beal has been very consistent in his three games back. That said, he still seems to be on a minutes limit, and likely will not put up big numbers until he starts playing 35+ minutes a game. Right now he is around 28.

My Lineups:

A: Antetokounmpo and McLemore ($10,100)

B: McLemore and Arron Afflalo ($9,600): Afflalo is a risk, but he has been performing well lately.

November 13, 2014; Oakland, CA, USA; Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (23) shoots the basketball against Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez (11) during the third quarter at Oracle Arena. The Warriors defeated the Nets 107-99. Mandatory Credit: Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forwards:

Bargains:

Wilson Chandler, Nuggets ($5,300): Chandler has eclipsed the 30 fantasy point threshold in each of his last three games. It seems like the Nuggets are going to continue going with Chandler, and as long as they do, he is a good option in FanDuel.

Harrison Barnes, Warriors ($4,800): He had a bad outing in his last game, and has scattered a few of those here and there, but the fact remains that he is always a threat to go over 30 fantasy points. If you like to gamble a little, Barnes has a lot of upside.

Worth The Cost:

Draymond Green, Warriors ($6,900): Like Barnes, Green is a bit of a risk because he won’t always produce. That said, as long as David Lee is out, he is a good option. He will get you 30+ fantasy points more often than not.

Luol Deng, Heat ($6,600): Deng went off on Friday night. He is showing no ill effects from his wrist injury, as shown by his 42.3 fantasy points, he should be good to use going forward.

Overpriced:

Rudy Gay, Kings ($8,100): Gay is slowed by a sore Achilles, and he is not the 40 point beast that he was earlier in the season. He is still putting up solid numbers, but not the numbers that you would expect for that price.

My Lineups:

A: Deng and Chandler ($11,900)

B:Ā Deng and Barnes ($11,200)

Nov 15, 2014; Oakland, CA, USA; Golden State Warriors forward Marreese Speights (5) is fouled by Charlotte Hornets center Al Jefferson (25) in the third quarter at Oracle Arena. The Warriors defeated the Hornets 112-87. Mandatory Credit: Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forwards:

Bargain:

Marreese Speights, Warriors ($5,400): Speights has bee the star of the Warriors’ second team, and is consistently producing. He has two games of 25 or more fantasy points, and two more of over 30 in his last five games. He is a relatively safe and cheap option at PF tonight.

Worth The Cost:

Anthony Davis, ($12,000): Davis is one-fifth of your budget, but he has been well worth it. He has four games of 50+ fantasy points, and three more that are above 60 in since November 4th. No one else can claim that.

Pau Gasol, Bulls ($8,600): In his last three games that he has finished, Gasol has not had less than 48 fantasy points. That is comparable to the numbers that Davis is putting up!

Overpriced:

Greg Monroe, Pistons ($7,000): Monroe is in a bit of a funk right now. He has been under 21 fantasy points in two of his last three games. He is not worth the risk right now.

My Lineups:

A: Davis and Speights ($17,400)

B: Gasol and Speights ($14,000)

Nov 12, 2014; Denver, CO, USA; Denver Nuggets center Timofey Mozgov (25) during the game against the Portland Trail Blazers at Pepsi Center. The Trail Blazers won 130-113. Mandatory Credit: Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

Center:

Bargain:

Timofey Mozgov, Nuggets ($4,900): Mozgov has gone over 28 fantasy pointsĀ in three of his last four games. As long as he is getting starter’s minutes in Denver, he is a great value at under five thousand.

Worth The Cost:

DeMarcus Cousins, Kings ($10,300): Cousins in averaging an astonishing 46 fantasy points over his last five games. He is close to the production of Anthony Davis right now!

Overpriced:

Joakim Noah, Bulls (8,000): Noah was nowhere near his production of last season when Pau Gasol is on the court with him. Now that Gasol is back, stay away from Noah.

My Lineups:

A: Mozgov ($4,900)

B: Cousins ($10,300)
