Russell Westbrook Could Play Friday
By Gerald Tracy
The Oklahoma City Thunder have been riddled injuries and it has been obvious with their early season record but they might have finally run into some sort of luck with Russell Westbrook potentially ready to play as early as this Friday.

Starting the season with only three wins in 15 games wasn’t exactly what the Thunder planned on doing after their superstar Kevin Durant won the MVP award last year. However the injury bug has forced them to start guys like Sebastian Telfair and bring in guys like Ish Smith. It seems that might be ending soon.
According to Anthony Slater, beat writer for the Thunder at The Oklahoman, the dynamic duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook have returned to practice and will be back on the court soon.
"“This week, I don’t know what day, they’ll get evaluated and we’ll go from there,” Brooks said. “They’ll continue to go through this process and when they’re ready — 100 percent ready — they’ll play.”"
The Thunder have a ten-day hardship keeping the two out from this Wednesdays matchup against the Utah Jazz, but the team plays the Knicks Friday at home. Scott Brooks did not rule this out when asked if Westbrook could play.
It would be nice for the Thunder to get at least one of their stars back because if they want to make the playoffs they need to start winning now.
