Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo was critical of his own performance in Thursday’s 33-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
This edition of the NFL on Thanksgiving featured three games, and outside of the first half of the the Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears match up, none of them were really that competitive.

You can add the Dallas Cowboys’ embarrassing 33-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles to that collection. The once dominant looking Cowboys have come right back down to Earth. Considering QB Tony Romo’s previous success in the month of November, it has come sooner than most would predict.
Romo, who was just 18-29 for 199 with 0 TD and 2 INT, had this to say of his own performance: “There are no excuses…We should have been better. I should have been better. And I am going to play much better next week, I can promise you that.”
What makes this disappointing play even more surprising is Romo’s level of performance overall this season. On the year, he is completing over 68 percent of his passes for 2,718 yards, with 22 TD, 8 INT, and a passer rating of 106.2
The team is now 8-4 on the season and sits 1 game back of the first place Eagles in the NFC Eastern divisional race. Still, as far as the NFC Wild Card goes, Dallas maintains control over their own destiny as they sit tied with Detroit for the 5th seed in the playoffs, with a head to head tiebreaker over the Seattle Seahawks.
