Baltimore Ravens Interested in Signing Ndamukong Suh For 2015?
By Josh Hill
The Baltimore Ravens are back in the news with the reinstatement of Ray Rice but they may be looking ahead at their next big move in the era beyond what they have been in the past.
It’s been a long and interesting season for the Baltimore Ravens so far, but the playoffs seem to be in the mix for the postseason still and they’re looking at building for the future.

After trying to build through the draft these past couple of years — rather successfully — there may be a need for the team to spend in free agency. That’s a lot easier said than done, but then again a free agent like Pro Bowler Ndamukong Suh doesn’t roll around every offseason. If the Detroit Lions fail to re-sign Ndamukong Suh this year, then the Ravens may have some interest.
According to Jamison Hensley from ESPN.com, while Suh is a top target on the market for a lot of people, the Ravens may not be all that interested in a top free agent.
"The Ravens are going to add some depth, especially at cornerback, wide receiver, tight end and offensive tackle. It would be uncharacteristic of the Ravens to pursue a free agent like Pierre-Paul, Suh, Harris or Houston."
Suh on the Ravens defense would be intense to imagine but it’s just not affordable. There are ways it could happen but the Ravens need to be interested in making it happen. Obviously, teams are going to be interested in Suh, but the Ravens interest may only extend so far before they drop out and pursue cheaper options.
