We’re a few days from LeBron James embarrassing himself by not playing defense, but it appears the Cleveland Cavaliers star is back to abusing the opposition. Not only that, he’s doing so in rather hilarious fashion as he demonstrated on Saturday night against the Indiana Pacers.
Just minutes into the first quarter, James was standing atop the elbow and apparently attempting to direct traffic. At least, that’s what he wanted the Pacers to believe as he kept his eye on teammate Kyrie Irving in the corner.
But was Irving really ever there? Maybe for a moment, but the point guard decided to streak towards the basket while LeBron James kept his eyes focused on the corner where the Indiana Pacers believed the Cleveland Cavaliers point guard was standing.
Reality was, Irving had already began streaking to the basket and LeBron James his his teammate with an absurd no-look pass that would make a prime Magic Johnson envious.
Talk about a beautiful play all around. It wasn’t just the fake out on behalf of James but that wasn’t exactly an easy pass even if Irving appeared to be wide open.
Did James and his Cavaliers get the last laugh though? It wasn’t easy but they did as they defeated the Pacers pushing them to a more respectable 8-7 on the season.
