Rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins is dealing with another injury that could threaten to keep him out of the lineup for the Buffalo Bills this weekend

More from Buffalo Bills

Sammy Watkins played every snap in the Bills 26-10 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday but he did suffer a hip injury and the team is determining hte severity of the injury and whether it will limit him in practice or keep him out of this week’s game against the Denver Broncos.

With a 7-5 record the Bills are still alive for a playoff and will need the No. 4 overall pick in the draft to keep them in the thick of the postseason chase in December, but it sounds like Watkins should be able to play this weekend after playing through the injury on Sunday.

More information will be released on Wednesday when the injury report is released so monitoring Watkins and how much he is able to practice this week will be telling for the Bills and for fantasy football owners who could be beginning the fantasy football playoffs this weekend and want the rookie wideout available.

Watkins had 51 receptions for 695 yards and five touchdowns this season.
