Here are my FanDuel lineups for December 1st:
Nov 29, 2014; Philadelphia, PA, USA; Philadelphia 76ers guard Michael Carter-Williams (1) applauds his team mates during the second half of a game against the Dallas Mavericks at Wells Fargo Center. The Mavericks defeated the 76ers 110-103. Mandatory Credit: Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports
Point Guards:
Bargain:
Mo Williams, Timberwolves ($5,500): Mo has put up 85.2 fantasy points in his last two games. He is producing well above his price range. In fact, he has outscored Chris Paul, John Wall, and Ty Lawson over that span. He is getting the minutes, so start him with confidence.
Worth The Cost:
Ty Lawson, Nuggets ($8,700): Lawson is riding a seven game streak of 30 or 40 point fantasy games. He is more consistent than John Wall, but doesnāt quite have the upside that Wall does. If youāre looking for the more sure thing, Lawson is it.
Michael Carter-Williams, 76ers ($8,300): MCW racked up a triple double last night against Dallas. I think itās safe to say that he is back to last yearās form.
Risky Plays:
Chris Paul, Clippers ($10,000): Paul is a bit of a risk since he has not gone over 40 fantasy points in his last three games. That isnāt terrible, but the other 10K guys have been scoring in the high 40ās or 50ās. This is clearly not the production that you need if you are spending that much on a player. That said, I think he gets back up that high against the Timberwolves tonight.
Cory Joseph, Spurs ($3,700): If you need to go really cheap, he is a solid option with Tony Parker out. He is still far more of a risk than Williams though.
My Lineups:
A: Paul and Williams ($15,500)
B: Paul and Lawson ($18,700)
Nov 22, 2014; San Antonio, TX, USA; San Antonio Spurs shooting guard Danny Green (14) reacts after a shot against the Brooklyn Nets during the second half at AT&T Center. Mandatory Credit: Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports
Shooting Guards:
Bargain:
Danny Green, Spurs ($4,700): Green has only been under 25 fantasy points once in his last five games, and that was the game that Manu Ginobili went off in. Be aware that nights like this might happen, but it certainly appears that Green is the SG to own in San Antonio right now. Especially in daily leagues since Manu Ginobili is reportedly resting for this one.
Worth The Cost:
Jamal Crawford, Clippers ($6,100): Crawford has averaged 28 fantasy points per game over his last eight games. He has become arguably the most consistent Clipper, though he is not the highest scoring one.
Dwyane Wade, Heat ($8,100): Wade put up 33.5 fantasy points in his return to the court yesterday, and showed no ill effects from his hamstring strain. He is safe to go with in all formats again, including a light day in daily leagues.
Risky Play:
Brad Beal, Wizards ($6,700): Beal has averaged just 19 fantasy points per game over his last three games. He is still shaking the rust off, it seems. Let him put together a couple of good games before taking a chance.
My Lineups:
A: Crawford and Green ($10,800):
B: Green and Arron Afflalo ($9,900): Afflalo has been consistent as well, though not to the degree that Crawford has. I didnāt have the money for Crawford though, so I took the step back.
Nov 26, 2014; Philadelphia, PA, USA; Philadelphia 76ers guard K.J. McDaniels (14) dunks during the fourth quarter against the Brooklyn Nets at the Wells Fargo Center. The Nets won the game 99-91. Mandatory Credit: John Geliebter-USA TODAY Sports
Small Forwards:
Bargains:
Corey Brewer, Timberwolves ($4,900): Brewer continues to play well in the absence of Kevin Martin. He has nine straight games of more than 22 fantasy points. That is great value for the money.
K.J. McDaniels, 76ers ($4,500): McDaniels played very well in place of Tony Wroten on Saturday, and with Wroten out for at least a few more games, the rookie is worth a flier for $4500.
Worth The Cost:
Gordon Hayward, Jazz ($7,600): Hayward has been over 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He might be safe to count on again. On a light night at SF, you probably wonāt do much, if any, better.
Kawhi Leonard, Spurs ($7,000): Leonard will likely be the star of the Spurs offense with Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker all getting the night off. He is in position to have a huge night against the winless 76ers.
Risky Play:
Andrew Wiggins, Timberwolves ($5,700): Wiggins played just 18 minutes last night due to an illness, and Shabazz Muhammad played an impressive game. Look for Wiggins to play similar minutes tonight, because he likely is not feeling much, if any, better.
My Lineups:
A: Leonard and Shabazz Muhammad ($10,900): I am taking the chance on Muhammad having another good night tonight.
B: Leonard and Luol Deng ($13,500): I like Deng against Washington tonight, so I will see where he takes me.
Nov 28, 2014; San Antonio, TX, USA; San Antonio Spurs power forward Boris Diaw (33) shoots the ball over Sacramento Kings power forward Jason Thompson (34) during the first half at AT&T Center. Mandatory Credit: Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports
Power Forwards:
Bargain:
Boris Diaw, Spurs ($4,500): Sometimes Diaw is a bargain even when Tim Duncan gets his normal 30-35 minutes of court time. Now Diaw will get those minutes, and possibly more with Duncan getting a day of rest. Like Leonard, Diaw could have a huge game, and the price is definitely right.
Worth The Cost:
Blake Griffin, Clippers ($9,100): With Duncan out, and Derrick Favors not feeling well, and Nerlens Noel battling a hip pointer, a normally deep PF position is suddenly very shallow. That means that if you go with any stud tonight, it should likely be Griffin. The drop off at PF could be steep.
Risky Play:
Derrick Favors, Jazz ($6,900): Favors was sent home from practice today because he was not feeling well. The consensus is that he will still play tonight, but he might not be up to his normal 31 fantasy points per game average.
My Lineups:
A and B: Griffin and Diaw ($13,600)
Nov 23, 2014; Miami, FL, USA; Miami Heat center Chris Bosh (1) shoots over Charlotte Hornets center Al Jefferson (25) during the second half at American Airlines Arena. 94-93. Mandatory Credit: Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports
Center:
Bargains:
Matt Bonner, Spurs ($3,500): With Duncan sitting and Tiago Splitter out still, there will be plenty of minutes to come by in the Spurs frontcourt. That means Bonner should be in line for an increase in minutes, and likely an increase in production.
Gorgui Dieng, Timberwolves ($6,000): Another start, another 29 fantasy points for Dieng. That is what he has averaged with Pekovic out, so expect much of the same tonight.
Worth The Cost:
Chris Bosh, Heat ($8,700): Bosh is not as hot as he was early on, but he is still a sure 30-40 points on an uncertain night.
Risky Plays:
Marcin Gortat, Wizards ($7,100): Gortat had a monster game against the Pelicans on Saturday, going for 53 fantasy points. Can he do that tonight against Chris Bosh and the Heat? I have my doubts.
Timofey Mozgov, Nuggets ($5,300): Mozgov is a suitable option, but he will likely lose minutes tonight with Javale McGee back. Donāt forget that J.J. Hickson still needs his minutes too. Mozgov is the starter, but he might not hit 30 minutes with all of the bodies that the Nuggets want to play in their frontcourt.
My Lineups:
A: Bosh ($8,700)
B: Dieng ($6,000)
