Miles Austin Hospitalized With Kidney Injury

Following Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Miles Austin was hospitalized with a kidney injury.
After the Cleveland Browns’ loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon, wide receiver Miles Austin was sent to Erie County Medical Center.

Austin was reportedly experiencing abdominal pain and was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons. The team states that Austin will remain hospitalized overnight as he undergoes further observation.
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Austin has a kidney injury.
Miles Austin led the Browns in receiving in Week 13 with seven catches for 86 yards. Austin was targeted nine times.
Despite feeling the pain after the game, Austin took the time to speak with reporters in the team’s locker room. However, he made no mention of the injury. Rather than discuss his injury, Austin spoke of the team’s struggles in the passing game against Buffalo.
“Honestly, the coaches would probably know a lot more about that. They probably know a lot more X’s and O’s than I do. I just have to go out and do my job,” Austin said.
This season, Miles Austin has 47 catches for 568 yards and two touchdowns.
It is his first season with the Browns.
