Arizona Cardinals defensive star Darnell Dockett was selected to jury duty and live-tweeted the event so he could get sent home early.

More from Arizona Cardinals

Another day, another slightly over-the-top story involving Arizona Cardinals defensive end Darnell Dockett.

The defender, who routinely seems to make waves on social media is again doing so, this time in regards to jury duty.

Apparently not wanting to partake it the ‘citizen duty’, Dockett is seemingly live-tweeting the events in hopes of being kicked out and sent home.

Hilarious as that might be, I’m going to assume a judge wouldn’t be laughing if they came across Dockett’s Twitter feed which is ripe with other comments about the process.

Things apparently started to get real for the Arizona Cardinals star once he realized he couldn’t leave the courthouse.

For what it’s worth, it doesn’t appear Darnell Dockett isn’t all that worried about dealing with police if he gets kicked out either.

Clearly, it’s one of the best reads you’ll have all day.
