Unless you listen to Drake, which few will admit to doing so, you probably won’t get what Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors was attempting to do here.
Alas, I’ll take the bullet for you and subject my ears to a verbal assault from Drake as in his song “0 To 100” the Canadian rapper spits out the following lyrics:
If I ain’t the greatest then I’m headed for it
That mean I’m way up
The 6 ain’t friendly but it’s where I lay up
This s*** a mother***** lay up
I been Steph Curry with the shot
Been cookin’ with the sauce, chef, curry with the pot, boy
You’ll notice special emphasis on the bolded part as the Golden State Warriors All-Star guard decided to take the lyric literally and, well, go in the kitchen with a pot.
Joining him was his wife as she made some sauce in an hilarious troll job.
Both Stephen Curry and his wife are great friends with Drake who often will attend a Golden State Warriors game (home or road) to visit with the Curry’s, so this was all done with love and there’s no ill will behind it. Why anybody would think such would be the case would be beyond me, but just for the sake of an argument it’s all good natured.
Curry and his Golden State Warriors teammates have quickly become some of the most followed social media accounts in the NBA as they routinely post funny videos of themselves and this is no different.
Love the dance too. Hopefully Stephen Curry will incorporate that next time he drains a three in the oppositions face.
Also? Next time, perhaps put some actual sauce in the pan. I mean, air can taste good but it’s no sauce.
