Kevin Durant Will Play For Oklahoma City Thunder Tuesday Night
By Josh Hill
After suffering a Jones fracture in the preseason, Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant is going to be making his season debut tonight against the Pelicans.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have been struggling this season to get wins, but they can’t be blamed after losing both Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant before the season even started.

Both players will be back on the same floor on Tuesday night though, as Westbrook’s triumphant return last week will be coupled with Durant even more triumphant return against the New Orleans Pelicans. It seemed only a matter of time before Durant would play again, and tonight is that night according to head coach Scott Brooks.
Brooks confirmed that Kevin Durant would be back in the lineup for the Thunder on Tuesday night, but mentioned a minutes restriction of just over half the game.
Durant was expected to be back sometime in December, and he’s clearly wasting no time. Oklahoma City is an abysmal 5-12 on the season and getting Durant back may be the spark they need to start turning this season around sooner rather than later.
