Both of my lineups came very close to the 300 point threshold last night. That is usually good enough to win a little bit of money. Let’s try to get a little bit more!

Here are my FanDuel lineups for December 3rd:
Nov 29, 2014; Philadelphia, PA, USA; Philadelphia 76ers guard Michael Carter-Williams (1) reacts as time winds down during the second half of a game against the Dallas Mavericks at Wells Fargo Center. The Mavericks defeated the 76ers 110-103. Mandatory Credit: Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports
Point Guards:
Bargains:
Mo Williams, Timberwolves ($5,600): Williams still managed 25 fantasy points despite getting a lot of rest in a blowout loss to the Clippers Monday night. Since he took over the point guard job for good, he is averaging 32 fantasy points per game over those seven games. He has been a gold mine for bargain seekers.
Greivis Vasquez, Raptors ($3,900): Vasquez has had four consecutive games of over 25 fantasy points. He will be widely owned today, but that’s okay. You cant afford not to have him at this point.
Worth The Cost:
John Wall, Wizards ($9,000): Wall has had five games of over 40 fantasy points in his last seven. Now he gets to take on the porous Lakers. Wall could have a huge night.
Michael Carter-Williams ($8,600): He’s baaaaack! Carter-Williams has 94.7 fantasy points over his last two games. It is safe to put him in any of your lineups going forward!
Risky Play:
Chris Paul, Clippers ($9,900): Just the fact that Paul is now under 10K should tell you something. He is averaging only 34 fantasy points over his last four games. That is not nearly enough for what you have to shell out to have him on your team.
My Lineups:
A: Williams and Vasquez ($9,500)
B: Wall and Vasquez ($12,900)
Nov 25, 2014; Denver, CO, USA; Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler (21) during the second half against the Denver Nuggets at Pepsi Center. The Nuggets won 114-109. Mandatory Credit: Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports
Shooting Guards:
Bargains:
Jason Terry, Rockets ($3,800): Terry will get another start at point guard tonight with Isaiah Canaan and Patrick Beverly still out. He scored 32.7 fantasy points in his first start of the season. Expect something in that neighborhood tonight, which makes Terry and incredible bargain.
O.J. Mayo, Bucks ($5,100): Ersan Ilyasova spent the night in the hospital after last night’s game, so the chances of him playing tonight are practically zero. That should mean more minutes for Mayo as Giannis Antetokounmpo should slide down to SF. Mayo is a sneaky play tonight, and a relatively low risk option, though you never know how the rotation is going to work in Milwaukee.
Worth The Cost:
James Harden, Rockets ($10,600): Harden has topped 55 fantasy points in three of his last four games. While I wouldn’t put him down for over 50 against the Grizzlies, the mid to high 40’s seems reasonable. He is one of the few sure things available tonight.
Jimmy Butler, Bulls ($8,000): Another game, more production for Butler. Butler has proven that having Rose and Gasol healthy does not suppress his value. He is still putting up numbers, and they may even be helping him!
Risky Play:
Brad Beal, Wizards ($6,600): Beal’s best game fantasy-wise of the season was 29.1 points back on November 19th. That was also his first game of the season. Since then, it has all been downhill, culminating in a ten point fantasy effort against the Heat on Monday. He has upside, but is too much of a risk for me right now.
My Lineups:
A: Butler and Harden ($18,600)
B: Harden and Terry ($14,400)
Nov 30, 2014; Auburn Hills, MI, USA; Detroit Pistons forward Josh Smith (6) defended by Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (23) during the third quarter at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The Warriors beat the Pistons 104-93. Mandatory Credit: Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports
Small Forwards:
Bargains:
Terrence Ross, Raptors ($4,800): Ross has scored more than 20 points in both the games that DeMar DeRozan has missed. That doesn’t take into account everything else he has done as well. Sure, Ross is mostly a shooter, but 20 regular points is 20 fantasy points, and he is sure to do a couple of other things on the court as well.
K.J. McDaniels, 76ers ($4,700): In the three games that Tony Wroten has missed, McDaniels is averaging 33 fantasy points per game. That kind of production at this price is unheard of.
Worth The Cost:
Josh Smith, Pistons ($7,600): After a rough patch in the middle of November, Smith is back up to his old tricks. He is averaging 40 fantasy pionts per game over his last six games, including putting up a whopping 93.8 points in his last two contests alone. Jeff Green may slow him down some, but not enough to shy me away.
Jabari Parker, Bucks ($5,800): Parker honestly should probably be under the bargains. He has posted 25 or more fantasy points in five of his last eight games, and has topped 37 in the last two games. Add to that the fact that Ersan Ilyasova is unavailable for tonight, and the situation looks good for Parker to have another good game.
Risky Play:
Loul Deng, Heat ($6,400): Deng has only had one game above 30 fantasy points this season. Do you really want to risk it with so many better options available?
My Lineups:
A: Ross and McDaniels ($9,500)
B: McDaniels and Smith ($12,300)
Nov 25, 2014; Washington, DC, USA; Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap (4) brings the ball up the court during the first half against the Washington Wizardsat Verizon Center. Atlanta Hawks defeated Washington Wizards 106-102. Mandatory Credit: Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports
Power Forwards:
Bargains:
Donatas Motiejunas, Rockets ($5,600): With Terrence Jones still out and Dwight Howard doubtful again for tonight, it looks like Motiejunas will receive an extended run again. He has topped 25 fantasy points in all but one game since Howard has been out.
Nikola Mirotic, Bulls ($4,800): Mirotic is making a case for more minutes even when Taj Gibson comes back. With Gibson out, Mirotic has averaged 28 fantasy points a game. Add to that the fact that Pau Gasol played a whopping 50 minutes last night, and you could see Mirotic close to the 30 minute mark tonight.
Worth The Cost:
Paul Millsap, Hawks ($8,300): Millsap has only been under 30 fantasy points once in his last 11 games. He is about as consistent of an option as you will find tonight.
Blake Griffin, Clippers ($9,400): Griffin has averaged 41 fantasy points per game in his last five games. He seems to be back on track.
Risky Play:
Pau Gasol, Bulls ($8,900): Nothing about his numbers sticks out, but him playing 50 minutes last night has me a little concerned that he will receive a little more rest than usual. Still an “off night” for Pau could still net owners north of 30 fantasy points.
My Lineups:
A: Mirotic and Gasol ($13,700)
B: Mirotic and Jared Sullinger ($11,800): I had to take a step down from Millsap to afford Wall, so I went with the next best option, which to me is Sullinger.
Nov 26, 2014; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol (33) rebounds the ball over Los Angeles Lakers forward Ed Davis (21) during the first half at Staples Center. Mandatory Credit: Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports
Center:
Bargains:
Tyson Chandler, Mavericks ($7,000): If you can’t afford one of the elite options at center, Chandler is more than a suitable option. He has tallied 161.4 fantasy points over his last four games, which puts him right up there with Blake Griffin in terms of production.
Jordan Hill, Lakers ($6,700): Hill has really turned it on over his last two games, netting 88 fantasy points. His breakout season continues!
Worth The Cost:
Marc Gasol, Grizzlies ($8,700): Gasol had 35.7 fantasy points on Sunday against the Kings. That was his lowest total since November 17th. In fact, he has only been below that mark twice this season. He is one of the safest plays around.
Chris Bosh, Heat ($8,600): Bosh isnt quite at Gasol’s level, but he continues to produce at a good level. He only has two sub-30 games all season.
Risky Play:
Joakim Noah, Bulls ($7,800): Noah has been off and on with Pau Gasol alongside him in the Bulls frontcourt. Noah is still a very good player, but he is no longer a dominant fantasy player with Gasol in the mix. He still averages 30 fantasy points per game, so he has had good games this season, but there are four games that he has had under 20 fantasy points. That kind of a night can torpedo your chances at making it into the money.
My Lineups:
A: Gasol ($8,700)
B: Bosh ($8,600)
