A sports store in Minneapolis is selling Green Bay Packers gear but won’t sell a Minnesota Vikings Adrian Peterson jersey.

So you’re in Minneapolis and looking for an Adrian Peterson jersey. Why exactly you’re wanting one is beyond comprehension but just for the sake of argument, you need one. You’d assume you’d be able to find them at a local sports store, right?
Not so fast.
While there are some stores still selling the heavily discounted jersey of the Minnesota Vikings running back, most have given up the ghost. Some have even replaced his jersey with that of the rival Green Bay Packers, leading to mass vomiting around the Minnesota area I’m sure.
What Minnesota-based store is selling Green Bay Packers jerseys is unknown (it kind of looks like Kohl’s, which makes sense given the store was founded in Wisconsin) though I can’t imagine that is sitting all that well with the Vikings faithful.
Irritating as that might be to see for Minnesota Vikings fans, I’m more impressed with the ball size of somebody who has enough guts to actually purchase a Green Bay Packers item in Minneapolis. I wonder what else that person does during their free time – put their head into the mouth of a lion? Swim with great white sharks? Wrangle venomous snakes?
Adding insult to injury, it doesn’t look as if it’s just a little section of Green Bay Packers related items either as below the Aaron Rodgers jersey there looks to be a significant amount of green and gold colored gear.
Ouch.
