The Penn State Nittany Lions football program sent a letter to disgraced former head coach Jerry Sandusky asking him to renew his season tickets. Sandusky is currently serving a prison sentence over molestation charges.

When a mass e-mail or letter is sent out, you generally don’t have to exclude anybody from the mailing list. Of course, there are rare instances when you might want to do so, something Penn State is learning today.
The school’s football program sent out pre-written letters to their season ticket holders asking them to put faith in the program and to re-up their tickets for the 2015 campaign. Nothing wrong with that, right? Well, not exactly as apparently Penn State sent a letter to Jerry Sandusky, their former 70-year-old head coach who is now serving out the final years of his life in a Pennsylvania prison cell over molestation charges.
Don't think Jerry Sandusky is going to need this Penn St. ticket renewal form. Just a hunch. http://t.co/Xfth1ccd8M pic.twitter.com/NkvTwrTGks

The letter came to light when it was spotted by @Zigmanfreud, who then passed it to Penn State newspaper Onward State.
Obviously it was nothing more than a mistake though a rather obvious blunder as you’d have expected Penn State to wipe everything out of their system even remotely connected with Jerry Sandusky.
It’s not known if Jerry Sandusky has access to a television though it seems as if the only way he’ll be watching the Nittany Lions is on the TV because he certainly isn’t going to be part of the ‘107K strong’ rooting on the team in person next year (or any year, for that matter).
I’m guessing this will probably be the last time we have a Penn State related Sandusky flub up as they’re sure to catch some grief for this one.
