It’s been said there’s no bad blood between the Miami Heat and LeBron James, who decided to leave South Beach this offseason and return to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
That may be true, though apparently the love doesn’t extend to actress Gabrielle Union and wife of Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade who has a special Christmas gift request.
Beat the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The NBA, with their ever so wonderful marketing tactics, decided to put the Cleveland Cavaliers-Miami Heat game on Christmas Day this year and it’s since been one of the most eagerly anticipated matchups of the season. Not only will it be the first time LeBron James has played the Heat since leaving, the game will be played in Miami.
Presumably, Gabrielle Union will be in attendance as she so often is supporting Wade and says the best gift of her Christmas holiday will be James and his Cavs leaving South Beach with a loss.
Of course, that will be easier said than done as after a slow start to the season, the Cleveland Cavaliers seem to be turning the corner and LeBron James looks far more comfortable in his current surroundings compared to a month ago.
As for the Miami Heat, they’re struggling after a hot start to the season. Losers of three straight, the Heat will need to pick up their play in the coming weeks if they’re to give Gabby Union a happy Christmas present.
