The Baltimore Ravens and fantasy football owners everywhere can rejoice, as running back Justin Forsett will reportedly play in week 14 against Miami Dolphins in a key NFL game.

One of the star running backs in the NFL this season has been the diminutive Justin Forsett of the Baltimore Ravens. The 5’8″ back is already a 1,000 yard rusher and has been a key player in a number of playoff races.

How is it possible for one man to be a relevant figure in multiple playoff races, you ask? Well, besides leading the Ravens to their current position in the AFC playoff race, Forsett has been the MVP for any number of fantasy football teams that will start their playoffs in week 14 on Sunday.

As such, many coaches and general managers waited nervously for updates on Forsett’s status this week as he deals with a knee injury. Baltimore’s running back is officially listed as questionable, but Adam Schefter reports that Forsett will play against the Dolphins on Sunday.

While it’s not clear how much of a workload Forsett will be able to handle, the Ravens will surely ride him as much as they can in a crucial game against a fellow playoff contender in the AFC.

Forsett has rushed for 1,009 yards and seven touchdowns this season while pitching in another 227 yards as a receiver. He has been a key answer for a Ravens’ offense that entered the season with a lot of question marks.
