The Green Bay Packers appear to be on their way to another blowout win at home, in part because Eddie Lacy is doing things like he did after taking a short pass.
Eddie Lacy of the Green Bay Packers did some things on a play Monday night against the Atlanta Falcons that a guy who weighs almost 250 pounds really shouldn’t be able to do.
Things like taking a short pass from Aaron Rodgers and making a bunch of people miss with a variety of cuts, slides and spins.
It looked like every Atlanta defender shy of Fulton Keykendall and Jessie Tuggle had a chance to tackle Lacy on the play, but couldn’t come up with the stop.

Less than three minutes later, Lacy was in the end zone with a 1-yard pass from Rodgers, his second touchdown of the night to go with a 1-yard run on the first play of the second quarter.
Late in the first half, Green Bay was leading Atlanta 31-7—hanging 24 unanswered points on the board in the second quarter. The Packers are 6-0 at home this season, outscoring their opponents by an average of 40.8 points to 17.7 points per game.
