Josh Gordon Ripped For Being ‘Out Of Shape’
By Sam Richmond
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon is taking heat for his lack of conditioning, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.
Cleveland Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer has taken a heavy amount of criticism in recent weeks for the team’s offensive struggles.

But Hoyer might not be the only one to blame for the Browns stumbling on offense. ESPN’s Chris Mortensen is reporting that the Browns’ star receiver Josh Gordon is “out of shape” and partly to blame for the team’s woes.
It’s an interesting turn of events for Gordon. All the talk following his return from suspension in Week 12 against the Atlanta Falcons was about how good of shape he was in, with Browns coach Mike Pettine even saying the following about Gordon after the game to Cleveland.com:
"It was obvious to us during the week at practice that he had stayed in shape and from a cardio standpoint he was in excellent shape and he got better throughout the week with us.”"
But Gordon has just 90 yards in two games after posting 120 receiving yards against the Falcons, which has his conditioning in question.
All eyes will certainly be on Gordon and how well he’s moving when Cleveland takes on the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday.
