While Tim Tebow may not be a very good NFL quarterback, there’s no denying he’s a great guy.
If you needed any evidence of such, the former Denver Broncos, New England Patriots and New York Jets signal caller made his way to a local Florida based Walmart and decided to pay off the layaway accounts of shoppers whom he came across.
Understandably, those who benefited from the kind gesture were shocked and struggled to express their happiness.
“You don’t understand how hard I’ve been working,” Damara Jarrett told Tebow after hearing the bill was to be paid. “And then I said I was going to take stuff off [the account] because I can’t afford everything, and then this. Just thank you. I just want to cry.”
Tebow, who is a corespondent for “Good Morning America” did have cameras following him through the process so it seemed a little more premeditated than it should have (would have been nicer had he just randomly did it and not document it) but it’s still an extremely kind gesture on behalf of the former Florida Gators star.
However, I should warn you, despite the good vibes you’ll feel from this video, prepare for some extremely high pitched squealing from the young lady who was featured in the piece.
Tim Tebow paid off the layaway accounts at Walmart for multiple costumers, some as cheap as $200 dollars while other accounts were upwards of $700.
Not sure if the money came from ABC or Tim Tebow himself (going to assume ABC), but really, who cares? Those lucky people and their families are going to have a wonderful holiday season and even better Christmas all because of Tim Tebow being awesome.
