Fantasy Basketball: FanDuel Lineups For December 13th

There are seven NBA games tonight, which allows for a lot of star power and bargains alike. If you know where to look, that is.

More from FanDuel

Here are my FanDuel lineups for December 13th:

Dec 6, 2014; Houston, TX, USA; Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley (2) reacts after making a basket during the fourth quarter against the Phoenix Suns at Toyota Center. The Rockets defeated the Suns 100-95. Mandatory Credit: Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Point Guards:

Bargains:

Patrick Beverley, Rockets ($5,600): Beverley has scored 32.7, 31.4, and 34.5 fantasy points in the three games since his return from a hamstring injury. You don’t need me to tell you that that is a great bargain at his price, but I’m telling you anyway.

C.J. Watson, Pacers ($4,100): Watson entered the starting lineup for Rodney Stuckey yesterday, and that trend should continue until George Hill returns. Watson has averaged 22.5 fantasy points per game over his last four outings. Those are not great numbers until you look at how cheap he is. If you can afford a stud and get 20 from Watson, you’re off to a good start.

Worth The Cost:

Damian Lillard, Trailblazers ($8,400): Lillard put up another 46 fantasy points last night against the Bulls. There is no reason to think that he can’t do the same to the Pacers.

Darren Collison, Kings ($7,800): Collison is averaging 35 fantasy points per game over his last five games. That is great production for his price range.

Risky Play:

Michael Carter-Williams ($9,200): MCW has had back-to-back underwhelming games, scoring just 61.2 points in his last two games. With a matchup against the Grizzlies looming tonight, It doesn’t bode well for him to break out of his mini-slump. There are much better options, and most of them are cheaper.

My Lineups:

A: Lillard and Beverley ($14,000)

B: Beverley and Watson ($9,700)

Dec 11, 2014; Sacramento, CA, USA; Houston Rockets guard James Harden (13) reacts after a three point basket against the Sacramento Kings during the overtime period at Sleep Train Arena. Shooting Guards

Bargains:

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks ($5,800): Giannis has topped 25 fantasy points in five of his last six games. Those are not stellar numbers by any means, but it is a light night at the position, and the drop off from the top is very steep.

Rodney Stuckey, Pacers ($5,400): Stuckey was moved from PG to SG last night, and his production dipped a little since he was not the primary ball handler. Getting 25 points out of him is still a real possibility though.

Worth The Cost:

James Harden, Rockets ($10,500): Harden has racked up a whopping 118.2 fantasy points in his last two games. That’s right. TWO. That is great production over a three game stretch! Harden has been brilliant since Patrick Beverley’s return. He may not score 60, but anything over 45 (which he has topped in each of his last four games) is still worth the cost.

Risky Play:

J.J. Redick, Clippers ($4,900): Redick is purely a scorer, so his FanDuel scoring also fluctuates. He is a popular cheap option, but he has been under 20 fantasy points in hisĀ  last two games.

My Lineups:

A: Harden and Victor Oladipo ($17,000): Oladipo has done better lately, but he is still not hitting the 30 point average that you would like from his price range.

B: Harden and Antetokounmpo ($16,300)

Dec 7, 2014; Atlanta, GA, USA; Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler (21) shoots the ball against the Atlanta Hawks in the second quarter at Philips Arena. Mandatory Credit: Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forwards:

Bargain:

Robert Covington, 76ers ($4,100): Covington is becoming a huge asset off of the bench for the Sixers. He is averaging 29 fantasy points per game over the last five games. The 35 he put up last night were with Tony Wroten back in the lineup, so I think Covington will continue to get a good run as long as he keeps producing.

Solomon Hill, Pacers ($4,800): Hill is still seeing a lot of minutes in Indiana’s rotation right now. With C.J. Miles leaving last night’s game and not returning, there is a good chance that Hill starts tonight over Chris Copeland. Hill could be a huge bargain, but check to make sure Miles is out first.

Worth The Cost:

Rudy Gay, Kings ($8,500): Gay’s shot wasn’t falling last night, but he still did enough other things on the court to net 35 fantasy points. That is why Gay is worth the money. Even if his shot isn’t true, he still does enough other things to not hurt you.

Wilson Chandler, Nuggets ($6,200): Chandler is averaging 31 fantasy points per game over his last five games. He continues to do all sorts of things for the Nuggets, and with Danilo Galinari out tonight, there is a chance for Chandler to play even more minutes.

Risky Play:

Nicolas Batum, Trailblazers ($6,500): Last night marked the fourth straight game of under 30 fantasy points for Batum. Stay away. Stay far, far away.

My Lineups:

A: Gay and Covington ($12,600)

B: Chandler and Covington ($10,300)

Dec 11, 2014; Sacramento, CA, USA; Sacramento Kings forward Jason Thompson (34) is introduced wearing a shirt reading ā€œI Can

Power Forwards:

Bargains:

Jason Thompson, Kings ($5,400): Thompson is still the guy to play with DeMarcus Cousins out. Reggie Evans is the less consistent of the two. Take Thompson’s 25 points and be happy instead of chasing Evans’s 35 every three games.

Kevin Garnett,Ā Nets ($5,100):Ā Mirza Teletovic is sitting out tonight, so KG should get a good run on the court in his absence. He has put up 58.8 fantasy points in the last two games with Mirza out. Expect around that range tonight. *****UPDATE**** GARNETT OUT TONIGHT*****

Cory Jefferson, Nets ($3,500): Jefferson played big minutes last night against the 76ers with Teletovic and Brook Lopez out. Tonight, Garnett and Teletovic are out, so expect Jefferson to see big minutes again.

Worth The Cost:

LaMarcus Aldridge, Trailblazers ($9,500): LMA bounced back from an awful night againsurnt the Timberwolves on Wednesday in a big way last night. He is a great play against the Pacers tonight.

Blake Griffin, Clippers ($9,900): Griffin’s off night last night was just that. An off night. I don’t think that it will become a trend. Look for him to bounce back in a big way against the Bucks.

Risky Play:

Greg Monroe, Pistons ($6,800): At first glance he looks like a bargain, but his minutes have fluctuated a lot lately. Technically he is coming off the bench. When he gets 30 or more minutes, he has produced good fantasy numbers. When he doesn’t, he is in the low 20’s or worse. In his last ten games, he has played under 30 minutes in half of them. Not coincidentally, he has been at or under 20 fantasy points four times.

My Lineups:

A: Thompson andĀ Jefferson($8,900)

B: Aldridge and Thompson ($14,900)

Dec 8, 2014; Toronto, Ontario, CAN; Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas (17) fouls against Denver Nuggets center Timofey Mozgov (25) at the Air Canada Centre. Toronto defeated Denver 112-107 in overtime. Mandatory Credit: John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

Center:

Bargain:

Timofey Mozgov, Nuggets ($5,600): He has averaged 28 fantasy points over his last three games. He is outplaying anyone else in the Nuggets’ frontcourt right now, and should continue to see at least 30 minutes a night.

Worth The Cost:

Marc Gasol, Grizzlies ($8,600): After his worst game of the season on Sunday, Gasol has put up 89.1 points in his last two outings. He seems to be back on track, so I have no problem rolling with him tonight against Philly.

Risky Play:

Kyle O’Quinn, Magic ($4,800): O’Quinn has had a good run with Nikola Vucevic out, but the word is that he will return to the court either tonight or Monday. Monitor the situation closelyĀ if you go with O’Quinn tonight.

My Lineups:

A: DeAndre Jordan ($7,400): I think the hiccup last night was an aberration. Look for Jordan to get back on track against the Bucks tonight.

B: Gasol ($8,600)
