The Kansas City Chiefs are trying to come away with a huge win against the Oakland Raiders this afternoon, and punt return man De’Anthony Thomas came through with a huge 81-yard punt return touchdown.
While the Raiders may not be a playoff contending team, they certainly aren’t a pushover either. They are coming off of a huge win last week over the San Francisco 49ers, and actually beat the Kansas City at home a few short weeks ago. This game is all about staying in the playoff chase and getting revenge, and this was a great way to start the game.
Take a look at the punt return touchdown for yourself:
This is the type of play that win games, and Thomas is exactly the type of difference maker on punts that every team needs. The Raiders are going to have to fight hard on the road in a hostile atmosphere, and there is no question that they have the ability to win. That being said, this punt return touchdown is a bad way to start the game and gives the Chiefs all of the momentum.
