The Green Bay Packers are looking to keep pace with the Arizona Cardinals for the first overall seed in the NFC playoff picture, and Eddie Lacy is doing his best to help his team defeat the Buffalo Bills on the road. He was questionable to play all week with an injury, but ended up being cleared to play and it was a good thing for the Packers.
Lacy scored a one-yard touchdown to put the Packers back up over the Bills at 10-7. He was able to force his way into the end zone despite the defense making a good play to bottle him up at the line of scrimmage. Green Bay will need him to continue playing well on the ground, as Buffalo actually has a very good pass defense to help slow down Aaron Rodgers.
Take a look at Lacy’s strong touchdown run for yourself:
Green Bay is currently one of the hottest teams in football, but they have gotten off to a bit of a slow start against the Bills. The special teams allowed a 75-yard punt return by the Bills, but the offense hasn’t looked all that great either. There is no question that the Packers are the more talented team, but they have to make sure to take care of business on the road this afternoon.
