Fan Dresses As Cam Newton Car Crash Victim (Photo)
One fan at the Carolina Panthers–Tampa Bay Buccaneers game decided to dress as the Cam Newton car crash victim.
Apparently, one NFL fan was convinced that today’s in game action was not entertaining enough. So he decided to dress as the driver of the other car involved in the Cam Newton auto accident a few days ago. Twitter user Cork Gaines posted the following photo on Twitter.

I am all for humor. Believe me. But there are certain things you do not joke about, and certainly not this soon after they occur. To poke fun at another person’s injuries is a serious matter, especially when the attention is unwarranted, and frankly, very unnecessary.
Nestor Pellot Jr. is the name of the man this fan is parodying. Although he was released from Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center relatively quickly with no serious damage, this subject matter is not really all that humorous; Cam Newton has even gone as far as saying that he believes someone should have been killed. Maybe I am just being overly sensitive, however, to me this is nearly on par with the people who dragged around blow up dolls designated to represent Janay Rice on Halloween.
