Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel had plenty of hype coming in to his first drive as a starter in the NFL, but it was a disappointing outing.
Well, that didn’t go as planned.

The very first drive for Johnny Manziel as a NFL starter was disappointing, with the rookie signal-caller leading the Cleveland Browns to a three-and-out.
To start off the game, the Browns had Manziel hand off the ball two times. On third-and-2, Manziel attempted to scramble for the first down and came up short.
On the third down run, Manziel failed to go through his progressions and ultimately took off.
A quick look down the field would have allowed Manziel to see a receiver coming open over the center of the field with no safety help over the top.
Probably should’ve thrown that Johnny… pic.twitter.com/zs07jnReF6

Whoops.
Better luck next time, rook.
