By Phil Watson
Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh can be a free agent this winter and several high-profile fans showed up Sunday, including billionaire Warren Buffett.
Talk about friends in high places.
In what could be Ndamukong Suh’s final regular-season home game for the Detroit Lions, he had a lot of guests on the home side of the field before Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Among the friends and family there to see Suh was 84-year-old financial savant and billionaire Warren Buffett, sporting a blue No. 90 jersey.
Buffett, who lives in Omaha and is a University of Nebraska graduate, was reportedly introduced to Suh by Tom Osborne, the legendary former Nebraska coach and athletic director, according to MLive.com.
Suh played at Nebraska from 2005-09 before he was the second pick in the 2010 draft by the Lions.
Suh has business ambitions and told the Wall Street Journal recently that he is hoping to foster friendships with businessmen like Buffett and former NBA player Junior Bridgeman into a seamless transition from the field to the corner office.
Entering play Sunday, he had 38 tackles and 5½ sacks this season and can become a free agent when the new NFL year begins in March.
In five seasons in Detroit, Suh has 33 sacks. He has been selected for three Pro Bowls and is a two-time All-Pro pick, including in 2013.
