Might the Miami Heat be without their star forward for the next few weeks?
That didn’t appear to be the case after Chris Bosh suffered what looked to be a rather mild calf injury, but the former All-Star isn’t recovering well and the issue could be more serious than is being lead on. That’s the word from the Miami Herald who suggests Chris Bosh could miss ‘weeks’ as he recovers.
"Heat forward Chris Bosh indicated after Sunday’s loss to the Chicago Bulls that he could be out for a while. The Heat plays the Nets on Tuesday in Brooklyn and Bosh is doubtful for that game, but he could be out a few weeks."
It’s a massive blow to the Heat if such proves to be true as after a hot start, the team has fallen to 11-13 and sits in the Eastern Conference’s seventh seed currently.
For what it’s worth, Bosh seems rather frustrated over the injury, not only because it’s keeping him off the floor but also because the big man not playing is hurting the chemistry in South Beach.
“And it really sucks that it’s hitting me right now,” Bosh said. “It’s just, I don’t know, it seems to be a dark cloud over everything right now. Everything seems to be tough. We’re having a tough time building the chemistry because we haven’t had many minutes together.”
Rest is said to be the best remedy for Bosh’s ailing calf injury and the forward believes it’s nothing more than ‘wear and tear’ which have attributed to the pain.
