LOSER: Miami Dolphins

It started out as a very promising season, but the 2014 Miami Dolphins have ended up disappointing the same way most Miami Dolphins teams have.

The loss to New England, while not a shock, was certainly disappointing, as was the way the team was just blown off the field in the second half. It’s almost as if you expect Miami to emerge from the locker room at some point Monday, wondering if the second half has started yet and where all the people went.

It was a brutal second half, but so indicative of what we’ve seen from Miami this year. They just can’t seem to finish games when they need to. Nor could they seem to finish the season properly. Miami had a chance to make the playoffs but since beating the Jets on December 1st, they’ve lost to Baltimore and New England by a combined score of 69-26.

That’s just not good enough.

Nor was Miami good enough to make the postseason.
