WINNER: Indianapolis Colts

This is almost a begrudging one for the “winners” column as the Colts have not been exceptionally good this year. Capturing the AFC South seems as much a matter of how bad everyone else is as it is how good the Colts are.

On the other hand, that they managed to get into the playoffs despite a lack of any running game and a questionable defense is impressive and worth a mention. Andrew Luck, despite a pretty bad day on Sunday, is an exceptional quarterback and any time you can get into the playoffs with a guy like that, you have a chance.

Plus, he has the greatest Civil War beard ever.

The Colts are an odd team. Indianapolis clearly has talent, but also some glaring holes they never seem to fix. How long before someone else in the AFC South wakes up and makes a run?

Nobody has yet, so for now, it’s just the Colts’ world.
