In the latest hack release, FIFA details to Sony how rather meticulously how their logo should be placed on packaging.
FIFA lets it be known to Sony where to place the logo and describes the way to size it and distinguish it towards customers in rather agonizing detail. They even go as far as to tell them what colors are to be used as well along with some mock example pics of the way the logo should appear on packaged items.
FIFA has been under the light lately for things such as corruption and associating with countries using slave labor to build stadiums for future FIFA World Cups. The latter causing many to call for the removal of the world cup from Qatar in 2022.
Now wanting your brand to be marketed in the way you desire, shouldn’t be held against FIFA, it’s normal business practice.
Sure, they beat Sony over the head repeatedly with the way they would like to have their logo advertised on their products, but that doesn’t decide if they are bad guys. Let other cases like the way they acquire labor, provide work conditions, and the way they handle politics be the deciding factors.
