Many would argue that hockey is one of the most violent sports one can play outside of actual sports that are based around throwing punches.

Unlike football and baseball, fighting isn’t frowned upon in hockey and while it doesn’t often trickle down to some of the lower levels of the sport, you’ll occasionally get the routine of dropping gloves even at high school levels.

What you don’t often see is beautiful displays of sportsmanship like what took place during this Peewee hockey game recently.

BroBible came across a YouTube video of a young (and rather small) hockey player skating around the ice only to come across an even smaller opponent struggle to get off the ice after she had fallen.

Looking like a baby deer, the pint-sized hockey player couldn’t get his or her skate to grip the ice and continually slipped over and over. That’s when the four-year-old daughter of the video uploader made her way over to the struggling opponent and offered a helping hand in the sweetest of ways.

Tell me that’s not the cutest thing you’ve come across this week.

In addition to dealing with regaining your balance on the ice with oversized skates, the tiny hockey player had to compete with his or her massive gloves so the two had a little difficulty getting on the same page. Thankfully though all ended well and the four-year-old who helped out reminded us what sports and competition is all about.
