New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will appear on Wednesday night’s edition of Top Chef.
It appeared to be all smiles in the Top Chef briefing room, even despite the massive task the contestants have been assigned. On Wednesday night, these four competing chefs will have to cook for one massive appetite, Pats TE Rob Gronkowski. This should be entertaining.

So how does one react to an NFL sized hunger? That is what we will find out, when each of these men and women attempt to cook the tastiest and most filling sausage for their star guest.
Unfortunately, not every chef is equally as enthused about the prospect of feeding the big man. It would appear that we have a Washington Redskins fan on staff. For the sake of his stomach, we can only hope this is no foul food play involved. The good news for Rob? New England does not play Washington at all the season. The bad news? The Redskins still have a lot of work to do.
And to anyone doubting the Gronk’s ability to put food away, let us refer you to the following quote. “Yes, I eat a lot. I eat a big sausage.” It is good to know the efforts of these chefs will likely not be put to waste. Expect to see an episode riddled with awkward chuckles and a few excellent quips that make you wonder if the team’s star TE is even a real person. It should definitely make for great television.
