Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota was the top pick in the Todd McShay mock draft, with perhaps the only real questionable call being at No. 2 where he has the Tennessee Titans overlooking character issues to select Jameis Winston.
After the quarterbacks go in the top ten picks, six of the next seven picks address the defense side of the ball.
The only other non-defensive players in the top ten of McShay’s mock are Alabama Crimson Tide star wide receiver Amari Cooper and Iowa’s standout offensive lineman Brandon Scherff.
The top ten from the first Todd McShay Mock Draft can be seen below:
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Marcus Mariota – QB
- Tennessee Titans – Jameis Winston – QB
- Jacksonville Jaguars – Leonard Williams – DE
- Oakland Raiders – Randy Gregory – DE/OLB
