For many college students, finals are now being conducted (or will be in the next week), so understandably there are a lot of tired eyes at campus’ across the country.
That includes UTSA (University of Texas San Antonio) where one student thought she spotted the college’s mascot Rowdy The Roadrunner riding a blowup whale through a fountain.
Except that she did.
Say what? Nope, the young ladies eyes weren’t playing tricks on her as she actually came across Rowdy getting, well, rowdy in what would presumably be a school fountain while riding a blow up version of Shamu,
In terms of an explanation, I’m not sure anybody has one at this point outside of the fact there is a mascot, in a fountain, riding a blow up whale. Actually, I’m not sure that really needs an explanation because it’s nothing short of awesome and almost legendary if you happened to come across the random act during a trip to the quad.
Maybe Rowdy had too many of those finch berries road runners like to eat. Those things are laced with caffeine.
Or perhaps Wile E. Coyote was confused and instead of chasing the real roadrunner decided to chase after Rowdy with the blowup whale being his only escape. Whatever the case, that’s pretty awesome.
