In a matter of weeks the Florida State Seminoles will head to the Rose Bowl where they’ll take on the Oregon Ducks in the College Football Playoffs with a ticket to the National Championship on the line.
They’ll be doing so in style as FSU’s new jersey for the game has been unveiled and with it comes some subtle though unique changes.
While the vast majority of the uniform and jersey will remain the same, you’ll notice a few additions including the Nike logo which looks to be almost reflective in nature. Normally Florida State simply wears the embroidered logo on the chest.
In addition the Seminoles logo which normally ends at the neck line has been moved down slightly and almost comes across as if it’s crafted out of rubber like a seal you’d see on the back of a letter.

The changes aren’t overwhelming in nature but they’re obvious to fans of the school and will probably be a big hit in Tallahassee. It’s difficult to see if there were any additional changes to the arms, though juding from the little you can see in the picture they look as if they remained the same.
Simply put, Nike obviously wanted to make some changes for the big game in hopes they’d be able to sell some more jerseys though couldn’t get too wild in their efforts to do so. The changes they made, while small, are rather noticeable and came out looking pretty good in the end.
There is also the addition of the extremely large 2015 Rose Bowl logo on the left shoulder, which you possibly could see from space.
