Former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice appeared at a Toys for Tots charity event in Baltimore and made brief comments on his status.
Ray Rice still doesn’t have a whole lot to say, and with good reason. He’s still a controversial public figure with more bad than good to his name. Still, when it’s for charity, you double down and help out.

That’s what Rice is doing with former teammate Torrey Smith among others. With the holiday season upon us, Rice participated in a Toys for Tots event to give back.
“I’ve been back out but coming to Jimmy’s and Toys For Tots, this is the best time to give back,” Rice said per CBS. “It’s a warm welcome just to know that there are still people out there who still do support.”
We’re just hoping he means support the charity and not himself because one needs and deserves support a whole lot more than the other.
“I made a horrible mistake in my life but if you truly believe in second chances, they will forgive me,” Rice said. “I think all the fans have looked deep into who I am.”
Oh we got a good look all right, and we’re all good on that. At least in this case, some good came of Rice appearing in public or talking. Kudos to the kids in need and Happy Holidays to them.
