Looking at Kobe Bryant’s season stat line and you wouldn’t really think the Los Angeles Lakers star was having a down year.
Of course when you get to his woeful shooting percentage, Bryant’s impressive numbers don’t look as hot considering how ineffective the Black Mamba has been.
There could be a fix on the horizon though as former rapper/music mogul Master P says he can save Bryant’s sub par season.
“I played against Kobe. He knows what’s up!”
Shockingly, the man behind the once proud No Limit Records did indeed play against Kobe Bryant as Master P, also known as Percy Miller laced up the sneakers for both the Charlotte Hornets and Toronto Raptors during multiple preseason contests.
Sadly Master P was never able to earn his way onto a 15-man NBA roster, though was relatively close to doing so as the hip-hop star can play the game at an elite level. Of course, the last time he graced an NBA court (even though it was preseason) was about fifteen years ago and his skills have likely declined significantly in that time.
All that said, it seems pretty safe to assume that Kobe Bryant will not be hitting up Master P to save his nor the Los Angeles Lakers season. He might want to give it a try though as the Black Mamba is coming off a game in which he scored a season-low nine points and is currently shooting 37.7 percent from the field on the year.
