It’s not been a great day for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Pittsburgh Steelers, with the 8-6 Chiefs needing a win to remain alive in the playoff race.
But it’s been a challenge for Smith to remain upright against Dick LeBeau’s blitz-happy Steelers defense.
On this play, linebacker Jason Worilds stumbled but came off the line clean and managed to stumble his way all the way to the quarterback.
Defensive end Cameron Heyward also came clean on the play, but Worilds was the first one to get there.

That was the fifth sack taken by Smith on the day, with still a lot of game to go.
Kansas City did get a field goal out of the drive and trail 17-9 with the game entering the final five minutes in Pittsburgh.
Smith has been his usual efficient self—26-for-36 for 262 yards—but the Chiefs haven’t produced a touchdown, instead getting all of their points off Cairo Santos’ foot. The kicker has field goals of 35, 25 and 43 yards at Heinz Field today.
Worilds has two of Pittsburgh’s five sacks so far, with Heyward and James Harrison each with 1½.
