The Cleveland Browns started the Johnny Manziel era with a dud last week, and he made his second start this afternoon against the Carolina Panthers. He hasn’t done too much just yet, but he has given the fans plenty to laugh about with one play in particular.
Manziel has always been known as a very quick quarterback that is good on his feet, but that wasn’t the case on one passing attempt today. He fired a pass downfield and the proceeded to trip on his own feet and fall to the ground. It certainly hasn’t been a dream start for Manziel to get his NFL career underway, but he knows that he needs to stay patient and continue working hard before he gets to the point where he needs to be.
Take a look at the hilarious play for yourself:
Obviously this isn’t something that the Browns are going to laugh about unless he can find a way to pull out a win for them. He has all of the tools to be a very solid starting quarterback, but he has to realize that full potential and get to that point.
