New York Jets (+10.5) over New England Patriots

Much like the game between Tampa Bay and Green Bay, this is another instance where a double-digit line is just too much to swallow. Unlike the aforementioned contest, the Jets and Patriots play twice a year, and while the Patriots are easily the better team in this spot, we can take a window into the match-up by referencing a narrow, two-point win by New England (at home) earlier in the season.

The Jets have, unquestionably, been a mess this season, but they have covered in two out of three weeks. This is the time of the year where large, inflated lines can be exploited, and even when it pains me to fade Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, taking double-digits for a home team is probably the spot to execute it.

If Tom Brady gets cooking early, watch out, but I like New York, even if it’s to slide in the backdoor.
