The Cleveland Browns have had a tumultuous end to what started off as a very promising season. They made a decision to bench Brian Hoyer and start rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel, much to the delight of fans everywhere.
It was a disastrous start for Manziel as the Browns were dominated by the Cincinnati Bengals and Manziel’s trademark money sign celebration was mocked. Manziel would go on to get hurt the next week ending his season.
Still, it wasn’t all bad for Manziel. He made $7 million in his rookie season with signing bonus, salary and marketing combined.
Johnny Manziel made $7M this year in signing bonus, salary & marketing. 175 total yards passing, 0 passing TD’s & 1 rushing TD

That’s not a bad haul for someone who spent the majority of the season on the bench riding the pine and holding the clipboard. That is a lot of trips to Las Vegas that Manziel can buy with that kind of money.
