Phoenix Suns point guard Goran Dragic can become a free agent at season end and the Houston Rockets are said to be a ‘team to watch’.

It’s been said the Phoenix Suns are dealing with a significant amount of trade calls, most of which are centered around point guard Goran Dragic. A free agent at season end (assuming he opts out of his contract), Dragic has previously stated a desire to re-sign with the Phoenix Suns though has seemingly softened that stance and appears open to testing the market.

If such is to happen, just about every team in the NBA with cap space will have interest, including the Houston Rockets who are said to be a ‘team to watch’ according to CBS Sports.

"The team to watch here is Houston, which has been after Dragic since he left as a free agent in 2012. Dragic can, and will, opt out of his $7.5 million contract for next season."

Considering Dragic already knows of Houston and Houston knows of Dragic, you automatically assume they’d likely be on of his top suitors. Of course they won’t be alone, but they’re in need of a talented point guard as Patrick Beverly can’t do it all himself and Goran Dragic would be able to join forces with Dwight Howard and James Harden.

It’s unlikely he’s going to find a more formidable trip in free agency, so assuming the money is right, you’d have to think Goran Dragic would give a long, hard look at the Houston Rockets if he is to become a free agent.

Still, considering the Phoenix Suns own his Bird Rights, they can offer him more money and years than any other team in free agency and hold the cards in that regard.
