The Indianapolis Colts held a players-only meeting to make sure “everybody was on the same page” in wake of their 42-7 blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys last weekend.
Heading into last weekend, the Indianapolis Colts were rolling, having won four straight games. Then, the Dallas Cowboys flat-out embarrassed the Colts, defeating Indy 42-7.

In hopes of getting back on track after the loss, the Colts held a players-only meeting this week, Reggie Wayne told ESPN.
“We had a chance to meet as a team and really put our priorities in place,” Wayne said. “Really find out who was all-in and who wasn’t. It was a chance if a player, if he wanted to leave, it was his chance to leave and not be crucified, you know?
“But yeah, it was a chance for us as a team to really figure out if everybody was on the same page and going forward with what we needed to do.”
It’s incredible how quickly things have turned for the Colts. I mean, it’s hard to have much confidence in this team after they were absolutely destroyed by a fellow playoff team.
But, as evidenced by the players-only meeting and the fact they are going to play their starters Sunday in what amounts to a meaningless game versus the Tennessee Titans, the Colts are doing whatever they can to get their edge back before the postseason.
Indy, 10-5 heading into Week 17, will host either the Pittsburgh Steelers or Cincinnati Bengals in the wildcard round.
