Here are my FanDuel lineups for December 26th:
Dec 25, 2014; Chicago, IL, USA; Los Angeles Lakers guard Ronnie Price (9) dribbles the ball as Chicago Bulls guard Aaron Brooks (0) defends during the second quarter at the United Center. Mandatory Credit: Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports
Point Guards:
Bargains:
Ronnie Price, Lakers ($4,600): Price is starting to grow into his starting role, averaging 24.5 fantasy points per game over the last four games. He has outproduced former starter Jeremy Lin in all but one of those games, so his job is safe for now. That makes him a great option in daily leagues.
Mo Williams, Timberwolves ($5,500): Williams has averaged 25 fantasy points per game over his last three games, and appears to have wrestled away the starting PG job from Zach LaVine once again. This may change as the season wears on, but for now, Williams is the guy.
Worth The Cost:
Russell Westbrook, Thunder ($11,600): So justĀ why is Westbrook worth the highest price tag in the game? Consistency. He has an amazing 12 consecutive games over of 40 fantasy points. That is the longest streak for any player this season. As if that wasnāt enough, he has been over 60 fantasy points in each of his last two games. If you want to win money, you have to have Westbrook on your team.
Damian Lillard, Trailblazers ($9,300): Lillard abused the Thunder on Tuesday night to the tune of 65.6 fantasy points. He could do the same to the 76ers tonight.
Risky Play:
Rajon Rondo, Mavericks ($8,400): Rondo has not topped 40 fantasy points in a game since being traded to Dallas, but that could change tonight against the Lakers.
My Lineups:
A and B: Westbrook and Price ($16,200)
Next: Can You Go Cheap At SG Tonight?
Dec 22, 2014; San Antonio, TX, USA; San Antonio Spurs shooting guard Manu Ginobili (20) shoots the ball over Los Angeles Clippers shooting guard Reggie Bullock (25) during the first half at AT&T Center. Mandatory Credit: Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports
Shooting Guards:
Bargains:
Ben McLemore, Kings ($4,900): McLemore has averaged 23 fantasy points per game over his last seven games. He is evolving into a suitable fantasy option with as many minutes as he is getting.
Manu Ginobili, Spurs ($5,800): Manu has had back-to-back games of over 30 fantasy points. With some instability still at SF with Kawhi Leonard out, it appears that Ginobili has taken up the scoring slack. That should continue until Leonard returns.
Worth The Cost:
James Harden, Rockets ($11,400): There was concern about Hardenās hamstring heading into Mondayās game. That concern should be alleviated after he torched the Blazers for 67.1 fantasy points. Donāt expect that kind of outburst against Memphis, but he should still be somewhere in the 40ās for fantasy points.
Monta Ellis, Mavericks ($7,800): Ellis has averaged 34.5 fantasy points per game since his disastrous outing against Memphis on December 9th. That makes him a safe option at this price. Hey, safe wins you money most of the time!
Risky Play:
Nick Young, Lakers ($5,400): It is likely that Kobe Bryant will be out again tonight, which frees up minutes for Young and Wayne Ellington. Young doesnāt always make the most of his minutes. He is a good shooter, and has the potential to do really good things, but you could also get an egg like yesterday when he played just 17 minutes and got 6.2 fantasy points. Ellington might even be the safer optionā¦..
My Lineups:
A:Ā Harden and Giannis Antetokounmpo ($17,700): Giannis has played big minutes in each of his last three games, and has responded by putting up 85.1 fantasy points.
B:Ā Antetokounmpo and Ginobili ($12,100)
Next: There Are Still Only Two Great Options At SF
Dec 6, 2014; Auburn Hills, MI, USA; Philadelphia 76ers forward Robert Covington (33) during the game against the Detroit Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Mandatory Credit: Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports
Small Forwards:
Bargains:
Gerald Henderson, Hornets ($4,000): Henderson has done great when receiving 30 or more minutes. The problem is that he doesnāt always get that kind of playing time. With the current struggles of Gary Neal, look for Henderson to stay on the court more, and do well for his 4k price tag.
Robert Covington, 76ers ($5,700): Covington has been between 22 and 37 fantasy points in every game but one in December. He remains one of the most solid options available.
Worth The Cost:
Rudy Gay, Kings ($8,600): Gay still continues to put up over 30 fantasy points every single game. He is the most reliable option for the money at small forward.
Shabazz Muhammad, Timberwolves ($6,200): Muhammad has seven straight games of 25 or more fantasy points, and has been over 30 in the last five. He is the poor manās Rudy Gay, but at $2,400 less, he is more bang for your buck.
Risky Play:
LeBron James, Cavaliers ($10,400): James has been consistently at 40 points, but is that worth his price? He has not been over 43 fantasy points since December 15th.
My Lineups:
A and B: Muhammad and Covington ($11,900)
Next: Should You Spend On Anthony Davis?
Dec 20, 2014; Houston, TX, USA; Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap (4) attempts to drive the ball around Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley (2) during the second quarter at Toyota Center. Mandatory Credit: Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports
Power Forwards:
Bargains:
Kyle OāQuinn, Magic ($5,100): OāQuinn has averaged 29 fantasy points in his starts. He is a great option right now.
Kenneth Faried, Nuggets ($5,600): Faried had a great game on Tuesday against the Nets, and the potential is definitely there for a repeat tonight against the battered Timberwolves. The only question is: will he get enough minutes?
Worth The Cost:
LaMarcus Aldridge, Trailblazers ($10,100): Aldridge has a great matchup against the Suns on tap tonight. Even in his ābadā games, he still gets you 30 fantasy points. He is honestly less of a risk than Anthony Davis.
Paul Millsap, Hawks ($8,100): Millsap has averaged 36 fantasy points per game over his last five games. He seems to be over his mid-December funk, and should be good to roll with in all daily games once again.
Risky Play:
Anthony Davis, Pelicans ($11,300): Davis is as likely to put up 60 fantasy points as anyone, but he also throws in more clunkers than anyone his price does. He has five games under 35 fantasy points in his last nine, soĀ when he misses, he often misses big.
My Lineups:
A: OāQuinn and Ed Davis ($9,900):Davis has done well as the starter for the Lakers after a slow start. He has been good for 25+ fantasy points in each of his last five games.
B: Aldridge and OāQuinn ($15,200)
Next: Cheap Options Aplenty At Center
Dec 21, 2014; Washington, DC, USA; Phoenix Suns center Alex Len (21) dunks during the third quarter against the Washington Wizards at Verizon Center. Phoenix Suns defeated Washington Wizards 104-92. Mandatory Credit: Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports
Center:
Bargains:
Steven Adams, Thunder ($4,500): Adams is rolling for the Thunder right now. He has averaged 30 fantasy points per game over his last four games, including a 43.5 point outburst against the Spurs yesterday.
Alex Len, Suns ($4,200): Len has taken the starting job in Phoenix and run with it. Well, as much as any center for the Suns can. Len is averaging 23.2 fantasy points per game over his last five games. That is very good production for this price.
Worth The Cost:
DeMarcus Cousins, Kings ($10,400): Cousins has averaged 46 fantasy points in his three games back after a bout with meningitis. He seems to be fine going forward.
Risky Play:
Jordan Hill, Lakers ($5,800): Hill has beenĀ nowhere near the player that he was in the first month of the season. He has not been over 30 fantasy points in a game since December 12th, and that is the only time that he has been in the month of December. The potential is there, but the hazards are too great to be chasing. Especially with so many other options available.
My Lineups:
A: Len ($4,200)
B: Adams ($4,500)
